racestar cleaning / polishing

All of you with polished racestars , have you found any good ways to clean them and shine them ? I've had mine for around a year and haven't really found a good product or method . I know they are clear coated but t thought I'd ask . Thanks

Good luck with that. My previous set of polished Racestar wheels would not polish. They stained easily, but no high speed buffer would take the stains out.

That's what we get for being "cheap". I recommend having a powder coating shop redo them really nice for you.

Your exactly right shoulda bought some welds. Ive been thinking about powder coating black

Black would be nice! I had a set of Racestars on my old car and could never get them to shine like I wanted so I replaced them with BS Streetlites.

My cleaning process involved:

  1. Soap and water
  2. Nevr-dull with lots of elbow grease
  3. Giving up and listing them for sale to get rid of them
