Small photoshoot from today with my DSG Cobra...

[O4COBRA]

Cleaned up the Cobra today and went on a little cruise with a buddy. He finally got his FRC back together after exploding the bellhousing and having to take apart the torque tube and all. Pretty clean little FRC. He's got longtubes, intake, catless exhaust, the normal goodies. And some huge 325's out back. He's going to do a cam, and ported heads in the next couple of months. As far as mine goes, I've added the bumper letters, tinted tails, and window tint since the last photoshoot. I've got some TF wheels on the way, and my 2.76 waiting to go on as well. Anyways, here are the pics. C&C always welcome...

Thanks. They came with the car. He likes them, so that's all that matters. They look good in person really...

The camera is a Nikon D90. I still would like to go back to my D80, but I sold it. :nono: I will definitely post up some pics when I get the wheels on. I should be putting the wheels on, and having the car tuned for the 2.76 pulley on the 10th... :thumbsup:

Thanks Comp! When you say "junk", I'm hoping you are talking about your Cobra on CCW's? :-D In all honesty if you really want to borrow it I'm sure we could figure something out. I've got a couple of other lenses I could use in the mean time...

Lol yes, I do mean the Cobra. And unfortunatly for me, living in Northern Ohio/Southern Michigan, I just put my car away for the winter. :whine: But I would LOVE to try it out sometime in the spring! I've heard nothing but great news about those lenses, and wouldn't mind picking one up eventually.

Thanks. I wouldn't mind having the vette in your sig. I'm just really partial to the Cobra's. My taillights or his? Mine are just spray tinted and cleared. His he found/made some spacer kit that pushed them out flush on the body. It looks really good in person...

Haha. Well I joined the site in 04, and at the time I wanted to get an 04. At that time everyone was talking about the 04's not having the tick and the vibe and all that. You remember the days. But no I never ended up getting an 04. Sonic Blue 03, Black 03, and now DSG 03. I'm on my 3rd one. And this one is here to stay for a long time! Oh and my 3rd set of your shifter gaskets. Thank you!
