That's great, Brady. Save me some reading time, LOL. What exterior lighting did you decide on? Bright LED lighting is awesome!

Not adding any exterior lighting at this time. The cameras should have good quality night vision. There is a street light in my yard that gives some light.

Honestly, I've seen some shops in my area that have an exterior light. I feel it draws more attention.

Two exterior cameras that video possible points of entry, plus most of my property and an alarm system to alert the police should one of the sensors go off should be good.

That can be true, but thieves prefer working in the dark. Sounds like you’re good, just keep bright lights in mind should the need arise.

Well most of it's complete. I need to call them tomorrow as one sensor keeps going off and tripping the alarm. Otherwise I'm happy. IMG_20210331_172957825.jpg IMG_20210331_180620886.jpg IMG_20210331_180651627.jpg IMG_20210331_180032771.jpg

First time seeing the outside, it looks really good. I particularly like the overhangs.

Soon. I won't drive my car on salty roads or when I have people coming over to work on stuff.

Nice security system setup. Is the screen display always "live", for monitoring?

The outside of the shop is as outstanding as the inside, Brady. First class!!

Thanks Bob! Yes it's always live, but only records when it detects motion. It's capturing movements of cars on the highway, but I can filter areas out.

I work all weekend but it's suppose to be really nice. Temps in the 70's, and same early into next week. I may get the cobra there next week and then bring the notch home to change oil and do a few other things.

I'm waiting for a phone call today to see if the security installers will stop by and check out that motion sensor. Otherwise, the cobra might have gone to the shop today.

Which car you plan on taking out first?

The excitement builds as you approach the "moving in" days for your Cobra and Fox. You'll have to invite your friends over for an "open house" barbeque.

Looks like my neighbors shop next to mine just had a theft. It's a auto repair shop and they have a lot of stuff outside. They stole a catalytic converter off his truck and broke a lock on his enclosed trailer and stole some stuff.

The police are wondering if my cameras caught anything, so they'll be stopping by today.

I talked to the owner, he has an alarm system, but no cameras. He's getting some now.

We've had a lot catalytic converter thefts lately.

    F these losers.

Yeah, catalytic converter thefts are high. Easy money for thieves. The school bus terminal across from our church got hit a month ago at around 2AM. I believe two dozen buses got hit. A police officer stopped at our church the next day so that I could show him the security footage we had. The perps parked their truck literally 30 feet from one of our cameras but behind some bushes. The footage clearly showed at least two thieves but details were lacking. It's at least good that your business neighbor is going to install video cameras now. Smart move! And very smart move on your part to get the system you have.

Well took the cobra for a quick spin, first time since last October. She's at the shop! IMG_20210405_144007312.jpg IMG_20210405_143758763.jpg IMG_20210405_142919107.jpg
