In the end i'll watch it, but I still don't see why robin hood and pointless widow are in there.

im a big kid when it comes to these movies, some do disappoint but most are pretty damn good...
I love The Incredible Hulk!
i cant wait to see this movie, this and Gi Joes is what im looking forward to this summer.
and to mention scarlett johanson, she looks amazing in any movie she plays in
Badass. Can't wait to see it. I was starting to lose faith in the movie after being seriously disappointed by Captain America, but The Avengers looks pretty good.
It's the Hulk from the Edward Norton Hulk movie "Incredible Hulk".
The dude with the bow and arrow is Hawkeye. He was in the Thor movie for a a brief moment, but he's been a member of The Avengers in the comics for years.
Johanson's character is Black Widow. She was in Iron Man 2 and also a member of the Avengers is the comics.
You got a super intelligent guy that can build anything he puts his mind too (Iron Man armor), a super intelligent scientist that can turn into an almost unstoppable monster, a god that scares the crap out of just about anyone that knows him, a dude that can kill a room full of people just by ripping off his fingernails and flicking them at them(Hawkeye), a super soldier that can knock out the Hulk in one punch, a man (Nick Fury) that leads the most powerful military force on the planet, and a chick that can whoop ass on several men at once without even using a gun. It's a badass team.

Because they're major characters in the Marvel universe, and more importantly, key characters in the Avengers history...
Hawkeye is supposed to be at peak conditioning. He's an expert swordsman, acrobat, and the worlds greatest marksman. Hawkeye was also trained by Captain America in tactics and hand-to-hand combat.
Black Widow is supposed to be a world class athlete and gymnast, expert martial artist, marksman, and weapons specialist with superspy espionage training. Black Widow's body has been enhanced by biotechnology that makes her body resistant to aging and disease and heals at a superhuman rate.
Both characters need to be included, as Hawkeye and Black Widow are romantically involved in the comic... also, Hawkeye's arrows aren't your typical "wooden" arrows. In the comic he had many different tips for different situations. Acid, Adamantium, Blunt, Boomerang, Cable Arrow (allowing him to swing through the air), Electrical, Blast (Explosive), Magnetic, Flare, Net, Rocket, Smoke, Suction Cup, Tear Gas, Thermal (Incendiary)
You're exactly right. I didn't have the courage and I didn't get laid when I was 12 (when reading comics) but once high school and college came around i got my fair share. Didn't take me too long to find my fiancé (who's a complete bombshell( don't believe me go to the hot wives/gf thread)) and I'm set for life. On another note, I did come off kinda riding this movie's nuts and I didn't mean to but as a lot of guys have said you just get giddy and kid-like when you see your childhood comic super heroes coming to life regardless if it's a robinhood copycat, a pistol shooting cutie, a flying advanced robot and a retarded seven foot monster. It's definitely something to look forward to. I hope you like it seeing as you're the most skptical in this thread so far.

As I've said everyone has their role they will play and this movie is basically about them effectively working as a team. The avengers has a nice series on Netflix that'll catch you(kanibus) up.......

i have a feeling it will have a bit of camp to it, its hard enough to have a story these days with one hero but now with 6... ehhhhh i bet Spiderman, batman, and Superman will rape this flick, im def interested in seeing this but my expectations will be low
