I just need to put together a good driver and iron round. The best driver round I put together had every iron shot long by 10 yards.

It looks like I will be playing either La Cana or Corales in Punta Cana next October.

The weakest part in my game use to be my driver. I use hybrids 3h, 5h, and a 6h. The worst part of my game now is my irons, specifically 7-pw irons.

Late summer I was hitting them pretty good. Now they are always hit fat or chunked. My swing feels completely different when I hit them.

I may buy a good indoor net along with the Garmin R10 and work on some stuff over the winter. I feel like I could consistently drop 4-5 strokes easy if I was more consistent with them.

Golfing tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. Then the weather gets cold, so this might be it until next year....

We wear goofy polo golf shirts all the time. I golfed solo yesterday, definitely different.

5th day golfing in a row, heading out soon! Only 40 degrees... Golf course last open day is Sunday. So I'll also be going tomorrow and Sun.

I hate/love fall golf…

When you see your ball hit the fairway, bounce, roll towards the center of the fairway and you still lose it. ****…

These are my drives that hit the fairway and I found. Lighter ones are why the app considers outliers.

I did hit and find 8 fairway balls. I lost a total of nine balls I saw land and bounce. ****ing leaves!

Looking at the Spornia golf nets so I can practice during the winter months. I've never hit well on simulators, but maybe buying a good mat that won't break the wrists will help.


Also looking at a rapsodo launch monitor. I'd like to improve and get more consistent. I plan on putting it in the lower level of the office.

Nice. I had a nice birdie on a par 5 last Sunday. I missed a 25 foot eagle putt.

It's rare when the high for the day is less than 50* here, and it's going to be 65* today.

Got to try out the AI Smoke lineup today.

Currently I am gaming:

Paradym TD 8* with Tensei Orange 1K Pro Xstiff
Paradym 3 wood Tensei AV Blue Stiff
Paradym 3&4 hybrid Hzrdus Silver Stiff

The new AI Smoke Driver did not make a huge difference. There was small differences in feel and shot but the numbers were not “go out and buy” change.

The 3 wood was a large difference for me. Now, it was for two reasons which may not be all attributed to the AI Smoke itself over Paradym but the difference in TD head versus standard along with the shaft. I tried the AI Smoke TD with the new Denali Black in XStiff and it was huge even from a confidence level. I was averaging 10 more total yards, shape and dispersion were much better, hit three at 280 total yards off the deck.

The Hybrids were different only with a much better suited to me shaft.

I did order the AI Smoke TD 3 wood and new hybrids as shaft cost made it more sensible to just order new ones.

Last, I got some of the new Chrome Tour and Chrome Tour X to try out.

It was a fun experience. I just need to get comfortable hitting in a bay. I am always scared to hit the wall or ceiling with a driver and block the shot a lot.

The Callaway Rep did swap around my driver weights. He moved the heavier weight to the front to kill more spin then changed the sleeve to +1/D. Brought my spin to averaging 1900 RPM and shot shape was much better with maintaining distance.

Not good let's say that! Putting and driver worked well. My mid game was as bad. But the course was in rough shape.
