Long block is ready for final assembly...this is the part im really going to enjoy because im learning and getting to be hands on with cam degreeing from my pal Jim Larocca who has been instrumental in this winters build. Along with Him..my best friend and calibrator Bill miller and Donny Wood my engine builder...this car is definately going to be a hell of alot of fun this year and those 3 have all made massive contributions to my car.

Basic long block is home and awaiting finally assembly. Took a few pics of the Fox lake cnc heads (pure sex) and the double keyed crank...gotta dig the balancer out of its box which is also double keyed. Ill keep updating as we go along.

Nice man! Looks like things are coming along! What kind of numbers are you expecting from this setup?

Should easily exceed 1200 rwhp...this is the first 4.5 whipple i know of thats been modded inlet wise for street duty. I found out lastnight Tasca had done something similar but more radical that it would never fit without cutting the bulkhead....so as far as i know there isnt another one out there to compare to. Theres also alot more to this combo that im not allowed to speak about or show so its anyones guess what its going to make...but i promise this is a MAX effort build...not just a rod and piston swap like my first go around.

I see, will the crank be that much stronger than stock with the mods? S.Erickson found cracks in his and ended up getting a Bryant.

Yup it will be much much much stronger....CJ guys are running 7's with the process we did to mine.
