my hurst has been treating me well:shrug:

I would really like to try the Hurst or the B&M Ripper, I like the idea of a little bit longer handle. My MGW is slick, but feels notchy, esp. going into 3rd gear. I just don't want to pay $200 a pop to start experimenting:bash:.

I hear ya! Shifters are not cheap. Although you can resell them and recover a good portion of your investment. Just a thought.

Good point Bob. I think I read somewhere that the 2000 Cobra R came from the factory with the B&M Ripper shifter. If its good enough for Coletti's monster I guess its good enough for me! :D

MGW.. Adjustable to your liking. Never missed a 2-3 shift after installing it which takes about 1/2 an hour.

Don't forget to remove the stops unless you really know what you're doing. The T-56 has internal stops.
MGW shifter/Cobra Bob gasket FTW!

Owned em all, MGW by far. I've had one in my last 5 stangs. Tri-ax was second but by a long shot.

Stock shifter feels like a rubber stick in comparison...
