where is the best places to get ported

just wondering whats people believe is the best place to get ported... i spoke to steigmeir an they said 950 for stage6 port an theyll change my pully but if you have anywhere you think is better let me know please

The only other well known porter was posi and he closed shop just a few months ago, your best bet is Steigmeir.

^ +1 Steggy is the only place I know of unless you buy a used ported blower.

Search for a used posi or get a Steig. stage 6. Pretty much your only choices now.

i'm sure a steigi 6 or a posi race port are going to be within a couple horsepower/tq one way or the other. I myself if i were to have the choice between the two i'd go posi but i wouldn't hesitate to put a steigi on my car either.

I would recommend Posi. He is on the boards I just cant remember his id or name. Met him in BG and was a nice guy. "Timspony" on the boards here is running the posi blower and he just hit 10's. I think it was him that mentioned Posi still had a couple ported blowers for sale. This was in Bowling Green so things may have changed. However, bang for buck, go with Posi if you can.

POSI still has a few ported Eaton's when I spoke to Brian in BG....Otherwise, check the 'Market' for a used POSI ported Eaton!

After reading a lot of negativity going around Stieg, I would stay away from them and buy a used POSI port instead.

There are local companies that have done ports before, ask your tune shop. Im sure they have someone they can recommend you to go to.

You need to contact john about a johnny port he's been doing a lot of lightning blowers and did my Cobra and a couple other local guys where I'm from looks pretty similar to a posi port but would be well worth a email [email protected]
