I will be there. I think this forum would be almost an attraction in and of itself if it were set up somewhere there. Good for PR and growth of the forum.
Next year is the 30th anniversary for SVT and 23 for SVTP…

I’m going to try to make it back up there next month the Old Car Show at Greenfield Village.

That should be a great venue if you do go. A lot of original history there.
Ive been there several times @CobraBob I go every other year or so just to see whats been added or upgraded. The museum is a must see as well. IF you ever come to visit in Michigan its a must stop and see.......So many amazing things to see at Henry Ford Greenfield Village.

All true. I’m an annual member there. Try to stop by every time I’m in town, even if it’s just for a drink in the Eagle Tavern.

I was just there last week, been making the 12 hour ride since 2001, I think I’ve only missed 5 in 21 years.

This years weather was perfect, mustang alley had 970 mustangs, spent Thursday and Friday night up in Royal oak, and Sunday the mocsem ford show, it was steady rain in the morning and they still had about 200 cars show up.

Can’t wait for next year, the ford reps said they are working on putting together a special display for the 30th anniversary of SVT.

The Mustang Owners Club of Southeastern Michigan (MOCSEM) at the AAA building in Dearborn is a great way to end your Woodward Dream Cruise Weekend. Unfortuately I didnt attend this year because of the rain but it is a must see as well.

Hopefully next year we will be back at Ford World Headquarters for the show. Much bigger venue; we were limited to 500 cars at AAA so there was no day of registration. At WHQ we have had near 1,000 cars at the show since people could decide that morning if the weather was "good enough" to come out.

Of course the morning rain didn't help attendance this year either. It actually cleared up and we saw more spectators coming in then.

Stay over in Allen park, close to the Henry ford museum, rouge plant tours, automotive hall of fame, and greenfield village.

Plenty of hotel and restaurants in the area, and you’re about 25 minutes away from Woodward.

Detroit zoo is on Woodward.

Detroit has 3 casinos.

Show up a few days early before Woodward, (which is ALWAYS the 3rd Saturday in august ), so you have
Time to do these things, because on the day of the dream cruise, it’s gridlock by 12 noon.

If you go and sign up for mustang alley, you’ll have a guaranteed spot, or if you don’t then you show up early in the morning, grab a street side spot for the day to park, set up lawn chairs, and go walking.

Great video!! I've been lucky to host a spot at 16 & Woodward for 15 years now. It started out for the CTS V group but now I open it up for everyone so we get a lot of cool cars. I'm local but I stay at the Drury in just off of Woodward to enjoy the late night partying/endless burnouts.

If you have not seen the event, make the trip...you won't be disappointed. It's the Super bowl of car cruises.
