PCM/Power Distribution Box relocation and wire tuck

Spent a few hours here and there over the last month to do a relocation of my PCM, Power Distribution box, battery relocation and cleaning up a few wires. It wasn't a full "tuck" but it cleaned up what I wanted to make more room for the CPR turbo system and mainly where the 5" down pipe is proposed to be going. Overall I'd say I have 50-60 hours in this. Re-pinned and extended somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 wires. Relocated the battery to the trunk with a lighter Odyssey, too.

A part of me wanted to trash the entire harness and make one from scratch but it just wasn't worth it at this point in time. The car will most likely run on Pro-EFI in the near future and will get the appropriate harness at that point in time. So, this will make do for now and everything works great. It's always a little nerve racking turning that key over for the first time after this much wiring; no matter how many times you do it. But all is well!

Besides the relocation/tuck, there is not much else to look at right now. Haha. Should start on the turbo system in the next couple of weeks along with a TH-400 swap, fuel system changes, some weight reduction and rear end upgrades. Anyways, just wanted to share. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. I will get some better after-photos later today. Just realized I didn't take any good ones after all of that. :kaboom:

Very nice. Ive been going back and forth on doing this for awhile. Hard to tell from the pics but did you extend every wire for the pcm with the same color wire?

Also did you use a kit for the battery relocation? And what odyssey battery did you use?

Thanks! When I didn't have the correct wire color combo in my stock, I used either a white or black wire of the correct gauge. All of them have heat shrink labeling on them for identification.

I didn't use a kit, just pieced together my own. Running the PC680 in this car. I've ran them before and have never had any issues. The PC925 is a more powerful alternative and works, too, but it's 10lbs heavier.

Nice. I might try and tackle this soon. Im thinking about ordering up all the correct wire colors before hand just for a extra clean install. In your opinion how many feet per each pin do you think should be ordered?

Looks great!

I ran that PC680 in my 04 for 5 years, and now in my 14 for the second season. As long as you don't let them drain down to nothing they last a long long time, and have no problem turning the car over.

I'd say at it was about 2.5' - 3' of wire for each one extended or re-pinned. It was definitely a lot. If you have the time, it's worth it. Makes everything so much cleaner and more room in the engine bay. Post up if you do!

Thanks! Agreed. Keep them charged and they'll last quite a while.

Here are a few more pictures. When I start the turbo install, the EVAP system will be deleted for further under-hood cleaning. Trying to decide if I want to put this car on manual brakes or not and delete the ABS. It's not going to be a corner carver by any stretch of the imagination.

Move the ABS pump in front of driver tire/behind bumper? Moving the brake lines may be easier than what you just accomplished!
