You should ;)I got Brembo package. upgraded lca with Che relocation brackets and wheel hop became minimal. Installed steeda competition adjustable UCA with poly bushings and now it's all gone. Upgrading UCA or lca alone with reloc brackets isn't enough. You need to upgrade the whole system.

With the exception of relocation brackets....I did.

If you can afford them, the next step would be better rims/tires.
The reason other cars dont hop, is because they spin.

What gears do you have?

Seems like these Brembo wheels and tires hit a sweet spot between spinning and traction (causing this) I'd really prefer being able to make them do one or the other consistently. At least then it is manageable.

So ditch the bushings and go solid...???? I am thinking solid is the way to go now.

JMHO:shrug:

You won't catch me doing that.

I haven't had any wheel hop issues after changing springs.

It's stuff like this that really confuses me on this whole issue. :??:

Do you think it will still wheel hop at the -2 setting? Awesome video btw!

I doubt it, but if it does I will just set it back how I have it now. It seems like the key to the whole thing was moving the arm to the bottom hole in the mount. Keep in mind that my car is an M6 Brembo w/ 3.73s. Seems like every car combo reacts differently.

IT'S FIXED!!!! I moved the upper control arm to the bottom position on the mount and reset my pinion angle again. Took it to the track again today and ran it about a dozen times. Wheel hop is completely gone. I was skeptical that it was going to make a difference, but it worked!

Glad I could help. Amazing what IC/AS (geometry) does for these cars, huh?

Just goes to show you, buying parts with a little engineering and testing behind them, goes a long way, especially when the company tries to get you to your goals without making you spend more money than necessary.

You could have achieved this with the Relocation Brackets too, but I am glad that you got it working without spending the additional cash.

The money question is, what type of gain in ET from the completely stock UCA/LCA to the current set-up?

Well, my previous best was a 12.57, but the DA was right around 0. This past Sunday, my best was a 12.69 with 2200 DA. With the same air as my previous best, I would have definitely been faster. The car is MUCH more consistent now as well.

Thanks again!

I know it is serious bench-racing, but a 12.69 @ 2200DA corrects to about a 12.35.

Awesome!

I think with better air 12.4s would have been within reach. I wasn't even hitting the limiter in 4th at the top end of the track. On previous runs, with good DA, I would be hitting it 20-30 feet before the line.

That is also going to be my biggest obstacle going forward, I run out of 4th gear. So...I either swap to another gear, or go big power and am forced into the 4-5 shift. :(

35psi on a street tire at the track? That certainly wasn't helping your cause with the wheel-hop issue.
