Hahahhahha Come on now. I know everyone loves a good dealer bash every once in a while, but really? It's normal for techs to beat on customer's cars? That's the wildest statement I have ever heard. I guarantee if one of my techs did that, he wouldn't even have time to clean up his area before he was sent packing.

I find it VERY hard to believe that ANYONE could consider that the norm.

Flamesuit on.

I work at a dealer and don't like dealers lol and let's just say this if their was a camera in every customers car that came in our dealer would be in trouble.

I will tell you the Ford dealer I worked at was the opposite though. I never heard or saw techs beating on cars. Also one of the owners would also pull the high profile cars off new car trucks like Ford GT, 07 Shelby gt500s etc and they always did or went with the techs for the supercharger break in miles.

Yep, CSI is king now. You do anything to **** with an owners CSI on the sales or service side and you are history fast.

Well that's why my 2013 GT500 has never seen a dealer since I bought it.

Damn, missed the video. It's amazing idiots think they can get away with this type of shit. Not too long ago there was a 5th gen that got the crap beat out of it and the owner had an audio recorder hidden in the car. That dealership should shitcan the disloyal employees immediately.

I work at a dealer (my 3rd in fact) and I ONLY take my car to dealers, unless it's a friend ans I doing the work in my driveway.

So it appears you work in a shithole, that is BY NO MEANS the norm in a dealership. Techs at any of the places I've worked would be terminated on the spot if they were acting like this. Especially where I work now.

Florida is a dual party consent state for audio, thats the only thing I could see them having any grounds on...all the car's owner needs to do is strip the audio of them talking...Id imagine the sound of them ringing it off the limiter would still be obvious

Folks the video was this guy driving the car at like 40-45mph in first gear for a while. The car is just screaming, begging for the next gear but he would continue to drive the car in first gear. He was saying he was trying to either blow the motor or fix the issue by doing that. That is it. Nothing else.

Didnt this happen a while back when some tech came to the shop outside of hours of operation and took a BMW for a joyride and crashed it?
