What?!?!? Lol
Personally I'd stay away from R32 GTR's. Mark 4 supra's are very rare in Japan. GTR's are literally everywhere. If you look in the distance at any highway in Japan with or without binoculars you'll probably see some sort of Skyline.
After seeing Skylines and Mark 4 supra's together I'd say the Supra is the better car as far as looks and quality. The Supra's interior falls apart like a mustangs, but it is way more aesthetic/less crappy than the skyline.
The R32-34 skylines are very bland cars compared to the Mark 4. However their performance is better than the Supra, and somewhat makes up for the blandness.
Be a man and get a Tercel!
Why when it comes to imports do you recommend people based on what's most common in Japan? This is like the third time you've done this.
We live in America. Both Skylines and Supras are rare here. Nobody gives a **** how they are in Japan, Jamaica, Guatemala or any other non-USA country.
Well it could be that I lived there for two years, or it could also be that the Mark 4 Supra makes the R32 Skyline look like a cardboard box when sitting together in a parking lot.
Plus R32-R34 frames are very easy to bend during extremely low speed accidents. The actual metal is not as strong as American spec cars. I'd imagine a Japanese spec Supra to be the same way.
I know you are a fan of GTR's in general, but they aren't as amazing as the fanboy's who have never seen them make them out to be. However I will say that their performance is absolutely as amazing as the fanboy's make them out to be.
Overall I'd choose the Mark 4 Supra simply because it looks amazing, and can easily make power. If the OP wanted an R32 GTR I'd definitely understand that as well since it too is a great car.
Supra's aren't all that. Any shitbox can be made fast with a built motor and large or multiple power adders, to supplement.
Best Toyota ever made....
