About as many that track their cars now. 2-3%.
It'll probably be a little higher rate than other Mustang models, but with a few more bush you can buy a basically new Boss 302S. I know which one I'd rather track.

Could probably corner like the GT3 car games  Might be it or might not but if its following the new Gen numbers, I'm sure if will put great numbers. I'm sure it will give GT350 a good run and the new gen? Z28 topping the GT350R. Of course I could be very wrong and the GT350 be a great handling car.
But like I said, there are no official times for it at the moment. The rest have already put a name in it, the GT350 hasn't. The nea Mustang GT while performing better, still came short vs the competition
It is the total opposite down here. Young, skinny jean, sideways flat bill hat, huge diva sunglass wearing, tiny man syndrome, mommy and daddy bought my car for me dick bags. I like wearing this shirt when I go to import car meets as a way to throw sand in their vaginas View attachment 53791
Well considering you won't find one on the lot... And it's pretty common sense that no dealer will allow random test drives of a 350r. I doubt any normal 350's will even be allowed to go for a 'test drive
Exactly why I'd choose the gtr.Ford = manual trans
Exactly why I'd choose the gtr.
...
You drive a GT350 and I'll drive my GTR right beside it and you'll see the difference. ...
Not even kidding, people don't even understand what cars are about anymore, the only people I see driving pdk/auto cars are people who care more about status than the actual enjoyment of driving.
I would 100% be happier in just about any manual rwd car than an auto.
I do however understand that in this day and age people think if you buy the auto you are immune to losing races
I hated on GTR's until i got to drive one around for 30 mins. IMO, Its on a whole different level compared to a Mustang. When you drive a Mustang, Youre basically driving a hopped up $20k base chassis car and it really shows after getting out of the GTR. I'm a huge Mustang guy but when you start getting into the $70-80k range, There are several other options i'd choose over a Mustang. Thats just me being an unbiased realist.
Yeah... because this interior is so much worse than the mustang's :bored:
Your fanboy-ism is showing

Which difference are you referring to? Do you think the GTR will turn more heads than a GT350R? I think the responses would go something like this:
"Oh, look. Yet another GTR."
"Oh, shit! Is that a GT350R?!?"
correct. Both my daily and my L are manuals. Sure it's fun but sometimes i just want to not shift and just cruise. I dont cut up nearly as much as i used to so the manual loses it's appeal even more. But you went through all the work of converting your truck to Manual?
This I'd like to know as well.Wildman, what do you drive? Have you ever owned a C6Z, GTR, GT350, or any other cars you are claiming are better than the next? I don't understand all the hate for a car you probably haven't even sat in, much less driven.
At every track day event I've been to
...
A manual RWD car might be a little bit more fun to drive and it will take a more skilled driver to perfect, but it will not hold a candle to a well driven GTR on the track. AWD handling/grip with great power and slick shifting auto trans is going to destroy anyone in a manual RWD car not named Senna.
I just don't like the look of the GTR. I know everything performance wise will be in the GTR's corner, but, walking out in my garage I'd rather see the GT350r. If I liked how it looked, for the exact same price, I'd get the GTR probably. Might be some homerism in that but not everything is about performance. I can understand people going for the GTR though.
Driving fast in a straight line isnt the only thing the GTR is good at. While anyone can claim they have more skill because they can drive a manual (no shit, so could my 65 year old mother). How many can back up their claims of having skill, are your lap times close to a semi pro driver? Same analogy goes to motorcycle riding, sure you can ride a bike shift/down shift, but how many can drag their knees on corners and clock times equivalent to a semi pro rider? We live in Houston, so since TX2k became a GT-R fest, even my fiance' isnt impressed with the GT-R anymore, they are literally a dime a dozen. Now, literally every person in my family drives stick, my mom, my dad, me, my fiance, my sister ... we are a driving family; my Dad, my fiance' and i also go to road courses several times a year so my option is clearly the GT350(R). The GT-R is incredible, but i feel its not a driver's car, its a car that can drive itself around a track, it just needs some monkey behind the wheel to get it started.
The GT-R is an incredible machine, sure, but it just doesn't do it for me. Like when Top Gear reviewed the Mclaren MP4-12c, they mentioned that it is an incredible machine, but that it lacks "soul" or "feeling" or just something that makes it special. I feel that's what the GT-R is, its a computer on wheels that lacks character, lacks "soul."
I'm sure someone toting how much "fun" their 1000 whp GT-R is is going to have a gripe with my statement, but its my statement and i stand by it. I promise i am having a lot more fun in my 120 whp miata around a road course than you are with your 1000 whp GT-R in a straight line. By the way, i have driven several fast cars in a straight line, so unless you've also been around a road course, then your argument is invalid
OP just has to decide if he wants to drive, or be driven. The cars aren't really comparable at all, so that's basically all it comes down to.
