I can kinda understand that thou. Hell, doesn't Chevy have a Harley truck also?

Nope, not that i know of. Ford and Harley share the same anniversary dates (if i recall correctly) which is one of the reasons the HD F-150 was created :)
that is if i got my memory all correct

One termi owner that i am now friends with always saw me workin on my truck and stoped by my fathers house to chat.... he bought the cobra when he really wanted an L. Ill take him for a ride in the spring.
Another cobra owner i came across did the whole flyby thing to me, was like a 99 or 01 but it sounded pretty good. He moved over to the right lane and i blew by him. We got to the next light and he was about falling out the window laughing cause he thought the truck was the greatest thing being so loud

From your post, it sounds like YOU are the prick. Anyone who purchases an SVT vehicle HAS to know it is special and unique. I own a Terminator and a Lightning, and I always acknowledge other SVT drivers I see on the road.
We are all part of the SVT family... can't we just play nice?

honestly he is right to a point. i know more about there cars then about 99.9% of the owners and because i dont own one i have no idea what im talking about. i have meet a few of them at local cruises and they have an issue with it i tell them how to fix it and they completly disreguard it. few weeks later they tell me they fixed it and they do the same thing i told them to do.

I have both. I recognize and wave or whatever I can to both. Terminator, Lightning 1st or 2nd gen, 99-01 Cobras, Contour (I really like em), Focus even tho most of those kids are uneducated pricks who think their Focus is faster than my Terminator or my L, GT's, or anybody who has a fast or good lookin car.

Its like this for me. If I see something that I like. I wave of nod to the person in the vehicle.

I notice them everywhere I go, mainly because one of my best friends has a built 01. I dont try and race them cause on the street there are not many that have a chance including my friends, but I still like to admire them. I always roll down a window or something and shoot them a nod or a compliment. I love the trucks and have alot of respect for them from back in the mach days.

Just some pics and video of my buddies 01, he post on here but not very much and I dont think he has ever posted pics.

Don't forget that Ford never advertised SVT products, if they had maybe SVT owners would have the name recognition similar to what Hemi owners have. The first time I found out Ford was producing supercharged trucks was from a friend, not some mass media campaign that lasted years like Dodge did with the Hemi. I'm a car guy but I don't know allot about cars other than what I own. In fact I didn't know that the 02-03 Harley trucks had the same drive train as the Lightning’s until after I brought the thing and someone on here told me so. I always thought that the Lightning emblems on the side looked kind of silly and I would see people looking at them and scratching their heads. Now that I drive a Harley truck its 10 times worse. People just don't know what their looking at. I got allot of complements on my L for the 4 and 1/2 years (55k miles) I owned it but I can only remember one time that anyone ever waved at me in traffic. When these threads show up about getting recognized in traffic for what you drive I always think that the person posting it must have some kind of inferiority complex and needs attention but I don’t mean that in a bad way.:poke:

ok we're stereotyping too much. Most SVT owners are not as passionate about it as we are. I think I drive people crazy when I start talking about cars let alone SVTs or my Lightning. And there are enough SVTs out there that you're going to get an asshole every once in a while.

Nope!

And neither were the SVT Focus.

Down here, it seems like most people don't know what a Lightning is. I'm always shocked when someone actually does know. Until they tell you all Lightnings came with a 6 speed (no an automatic), well a 6 speed was optional (no it's wasn't), well I know a guy with one. After that conversation I'd rather them not know what a Lightning is.

If I'm not in the DD, I try and give a wave or thumbs up to any SVT I see.

Ive met a few harley owners who are the same way, one even said he could whoop my L because he was s/c'd and I wasn't..:bored:

i was on a fishing trip off the washington coast for salmon and the boat captain had a harley ed. and argued that same thing. he kept saying FI for the win, and i was like yeah exactly why i bought the L, i had to shut up as i was on his boat :nonono:

Thats the same one you have seen from a long while back, nothing new. Theres only 2 videos of it doing any kind of burnout, and have only done the 3 you see on film. Unless that is if you wanna count little tire prep burnouts. If you could keep the comments to yourself or call me if theres anything else I'll be happy to answer your call.... childish and completely uncalled for post Chad. Thanks.
