Replaced the alternator a while back and the charging light has been on ever since...seems it has been reseting the computer daily..problem is it now won't pass smog since it's getting flagged for recently reset computer. Any ideas ?

I can find 07/8 but the 09 is different I'm getting ready to burn up factory alternator #3. I used the optima spray wax and love it...was wondering if I could use some other shorter lasting spray like pinnacle wax or something to get some depth or a better effect...Car is white with blue stripes...I know white doesnt show as much but any suggestions would be appreciated.
