I think it was more the combination of -1500 DA and also your car being insanely light in weight.

How does your car 60ft almost a tenth faster then any other auto with the same converter? Wouldt less weight be the only answer? :rolleyes:

My buddies old car had the same mods as mine but 4.10s. He ran a best of 11.47 with 4.10s tune, xpipe and catback, and spare and seats removed. I was unable to go that day to b able to compare to mine but the last few times we had been to the track we had ran the same times but he was having traction issues.

Hard to judge without me being there that particular day. We have always ran together so always had each others car to base new mods off of. Da was great that day he ran and also first time at that track. I ended up going to that track and ran a new pb with worse da.

Hell I'm gonna start going at idle. I've been stalling to 1700or so and car starts pushing. Caused me to deep stage

My car had a worse 60' time when punching it from idle. I lost .2 in the 60' time and .2-.3 at the traps.

So far, best launch is brake rev to 1500 RPM, not too high to avoid the push. This preloads the suspension before launch.

The car is soft out of the hole with 3.15 gears and stock converter.

damn very impressive times. my 14 A6 with full exhaust, intake, 295/55's and tune only went 12.5x with a shitty 1.96 60'..81*/1700DA. i can not get the car to launch. i tried leaving at idle, 1000, 1250, 1500, and 1750...all of which netted the same 60' times. i see most of you guys are running in a lot cooler weather, does the cooler air effect this motor/et's that much?

I have a 2011 GT A6. 3.15 gears. Bone stock except 255/50-16 ET Street radials in around 1600' DA I ran a 12.89 at 108. Added Airaid CAI, JBA axlebacks, and Bama 93R tune and ran 12.26 @ 116 in 1100' DA air. 1.90 60ft.

Now I have a Boss manifold and Pypes off-road x-pipe, and custom tunes by Mike Rousch at Mid Atlantic Performance. I am running the car this Saturday. Guessing the DA will be in the 1000-1500' range. I ordered a Circle D 5C converter and in 2-3 weeks I will go back to see what the converter does for the car.

Yes from the tempo in the 50s to the 90s will affect my car about 4 tenths

Are you guys running with turning off the traction completely? Traction off or Traction on on the n/a setup with 3.15 gears no converter? What is the best size of tire?

run with the tcs completely off.

i managed a 12.36 @ 115 with the same crappy 1.97 60' up in ga few weeks ago. weather sucked...85*/2400da. need converter!
