No raise in 4 ****ing years!!?? Shit on the floor and hit the door!
That’s why I never take days off.. I hate leaving people to finish my work if I’m not there. I’m going to make sure my customers are all set before I depart.4 years is a long time with no pay increase. That being said, it's never a good thing to burn bridges. If you are in the middle of a project leaving people high and dry money shouldn't be the only consideration. That doesn't seem to be the case though...
Sounds like you've made up your mind. lolThat’s why I never take days off.. I hate leaving people to finish my work if I’m not there. I’m going to make sure my customers are all set before I depart.

Just LOL.
Duh,.............doesn't he already have a standing career with the current employer? If they're willing to pay him the same, he gets to stay where he's at and work with his buddies and get paid. Yeah, the drive is shorter with the Honda job, but at least here, he has job security, good pay and continues to work with the system/work flow that he knows and the buddies that he knows.
Just duhhh,......lol
Correct, I'm single.So, I take it you don't have a family.
You know I meant that if he gets the raise at his current job equal to Honda's pay to stay put, right? (Probably won't happen, but you never know.)So, I take it you don't have a family.
I mean, who the hell puts the people they work with above their family, all other things being equal?
actually no it doesn't or maybe your definition of job security and mine are different. yeah he's been there 4 years with no raise at all. His company and yours both would drop you like a hot potato if they thought it was in THEIR best interest. your interests be damned. companies don't give two shits about their employees anymore since they are expendable. even government workers no longer enjoy the job security they once hadActually, it does exist. He's been there 4 years already. I've been at my current job at over 7 years already.
He's going to have to weigh out the options between travel time/gas/job security.
I took the job. So it’s definitely happening. Just looking for input on whether it’s the right move given the short window to leave my current jobYou caught that, too. Lol
I will agree with you 100% on that.actually no it doesn't or maybe your definition of job security and mine are different. yeah he's been there 4 years with no raise at all.
