Knowing Ford this means we'll probably never see the motor and they'll have wasted millions and millions developing it for nothing, and they'll stick with the heavy fuel thirsty mods.
Am I right? If so that's really really dumb, watch fuel prices drop next year..
The view of Ford and GM is that higher gas prices are here to stay hence the closing of GM's truck plants. Not to mention the fervor in which Ford and other US manafacturers are trying to push out newer cars. Also keep in mind that China and other countries are also stock piling oil supplies in case of a shortage (like our own strategic reserve) and there will be very little excess supply left out there. I do think that they can drop some but we aren't going to see under $3 per gallon fuel costs anymore.
