oil starvation? One of the turbos locked up on the dyno.
As it is the Holidays, not very likely this thing will be running before 2012.
I fear my March 2012 Texas Mile plans just changed too...
wow. i asked because i had a new turbo go on initial tune from the banjo bolt filter failing. ever since then never ran a banjo filter. i wonder if they primed it first?Won't know until it's taken part, but unlikely. They started the car with the turbo off and oil shot out. And these BB turbos have restrictors they because they needs even less oil. Plus the shaft is free spinning. Compressor touched down on the compressor.
good to hear. Precision always had good customer service. To clear a few things up. Yes it had plenty of oil supply. The problem is with the turbo. The main shaft bent causing the impeller to rub On the housing just slightly and causing it to jamb up. A new one will be on it's way asap so we can get Ronnie his car back. Minor setbacks that no one could have avoided or even forseen. That is how things go in the performance world and that is why products have a warranty. Precision is going to take care of it I am sure and we will be back soon!
Congrats on the awesome build, Can wait for the next update..

Good numbers so far! What size turbos again?
Congrats!
Precision 6266 62mm turbos
Another interesting tidbit, CPRsm may be onto something regarding removing the intercooler from the intake manifold...during the dyno runs datalogs indicate that the IAT2 temps were only 20* over ambient.
does this car have a W/I kit?Not bad for only an A/A unit huh ?
Lemme know what the inlets are at 25 psi. If they start to creep I have the fix.
