Just look at the photo above. In my opinion that is simply the finest interior ever fit to a factory Mustang. We're certainly come a long way since the cardboard backed door panels of the Fox era, or the huge gaps and poor fitting components of the SN-95 cars. The 2015's interior is replete with premium soft-touch materials and tight fitting panels. The optional "leather" wrapped dash is attractive and the aluminum switches are definitely a nod to a fighter plane cockpit. The integration of the navigation system is far superior to prior years (which was really good for its time), and it's great to see a modern car that still uses intuitively placed buttons to control HVAC and audio functions instead of relying solely on the nav screen. To put it simply the interior of 2015 Mustang is truly world class.
A subtle exterior styling que that a lot of people tend to miss on first glance it the slight double-bubble roof, a feature found on many high performance cars throughout the years (think viper). The 20" wheels included with the 15" Brembo brake package fill the wheel openings nicely and really sets off the profile. Speaking of the profile, the lowered roof line and shortened deck lid are reminiscent of late-60's Mustangs. To me, the 2015 Mustang is the best looking pony car yet, and we haven't even see what the guys over at SVT have in store. Traditionally the SVT car is the pinnacle of Mustang styling on a particular platform, I expect the same for S550. In the meantime, check out our photos and our quick walk-around video:
