It does to MOST girls, But for the wrong reason. (most of the time)
I've been friends with this one girl on facebook/myspace for about 3 years.
when we first added each other we talked alot. then after the first time we met we kinda drifted apark. I would send her messages on myspace and she would just delete them w/out even reading them. so i took the hint and quit talking to her. then the day i got my gt500. I posted a pic of it on my facebook, and guess who talks to me again? now she texts me about everyday.

and does the fact we drive fords automatically mean the car isnt as good as something ferrari makes? if ford made the F40, and ferrari made the mustang, im sure the 'ferrari mustang' would mean you pull more poon. the f40 would just be an old ugly ford. chicks are shallow. FACT. if it costs more, it means its better.

im with some others on here, if i drive something that gives me confidence, i will pull in it. thats how ricers pull chicks, they feel confident driving a 'race car' and chicks dig confidence.

Clearly you've never driven a Ferrari. A friend of mine has a Ferrari 360 Spider. The moment you sit in this car you know your sitting in something special. The way it feels, looks, sounds, handles... The paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

You can't compare Ferrari to Ford. It's like comparing a Mustang to a bicycle.

i have had 2 women throw themselves at me over my GT, and one of those two knows that i am married....

imho it's not so much the car they like. it is what it represents. they know a GT is expensive and therefore they know you have money and that is what makes them act all goofy around you....

showing off your hot car usually only brings women who are shallow and only care about money. but yes, they will plow as long as you keep buying them junk, taking them to high end placed to eat and dumping money on her left and right. If you can talk the talk and are good with hitting on girls, it does make life a lot easier when you get a hot chick halfway interested and u actually leave the bar with her, your chances of smashing go up 90% when you tell her to have a seat in your brand new Z06 rather a 1984 Diesel benz with a broken drivers seat, radio that doesnt work and a cracked windshield and u tell her dont mind the water leaking through the sunroof.

For the most part, I have to agree with fiveoh (Molly, Mrs. Ford Racer) that a majority of girls that flock to a guy because of his car are materialistic and shallow.

But also playing the devil's advocate...I prefer guys with nice/fast cars because it means we have something in common, something to talk about. It isn't the sole basis of attraction - like some of the other members have said - confidence, swagger, game, whatever, plays a significant role in it too. I can afford my own rides and mods. I don't need a man to provide horsepower for me. But, I do want to be around someone that can talk to me about Whipple's vs. KB on the Lightning and Kincade Killer Chillers vs Dual fan H/E for the Shelby or the 4 to 5-lug swap on the Fox body. The other females in the forum know its HARD to find normal, decent female friends that know even the slightest bit about cars other than pricetag and social status.

That being said - a normal car that is well taken care speaks more highly of a man than a nice one that is full of garbage, dirty laundry, and old cigarette butts. Like someone said earlier - if your car is dirty you are probably dirty too. I don't care if you roll up in a Porsche, if last week's Mickey D's cheese burger wrapper is stickin to the bottom of your shoe...you are a NO GO.

Yeah, that's partly college probably. I was driving through campus one day in the GT with the top down, stopped at a stop sign, and offered a ride to the two cute girls waiting for the bus. They hopped right in without hesitation. Pretty sure if I was in a beat up pickup truck, they would have ran screaming in the opposite direction.

I agree with you 100% about all of that.

I tend to like guys who have similar interests to me and therefore because of that they might own a car that I like. You are new here so you might not know, but my husband and I met on this site. At the time he had a chrome yellow '98 GT vert (so obviously I wasn't going after him because of his car :lol but it was nice to have someone to talk cars with. I have only 1 female friend who is into cars and I met her through my husband.

I also agree with you about the dirty car thing, it's just disgusting. I don't care if it's a Zonda or a Pinto.

Lol, I got that with my 03 with borlas a few times. This question can be answered a lot of different ways. Some girls would think a mustang is a waste of gas, some will like because it's what there father drove, some only care if it's clean and smells good, and then there's the gold diggers who could car less if it's a mustang because they are more in lexus,benzs, and bimmers. If you need a car to score chicks though you're game is lame. There are a lot of answers to this question but I will say when a girl actually knows cars and drives stick it's a turn on for me. A nice car certainly doesn't hurt though.

Only time I could say that my car "helped me out" was if it was a conversation starter at a car meet or something. I've had a few chicks ask for rides, etc., but I never considered my car a necessity when it came to picking up women.
