uh, what's tx2k12? chances are pretty low obviously right now. lol

IMO one of the funnest car get togethers ever. 4 days of 1000+ whp cars running on the street in Houston and the track (hennessey performance). I went last year and it was a blast, this year a friend is taking down his TT Viper and offered to trailer my bike down also so i jumped all over it. Youtube search TX2k, lots of videos floating around. Im making the trip from central IA (17hrs) and its well worth it.

well, I'm definitely not in the 1000+ whp club, but I'll trailer my ride down there for the weekend I guess. sounds like a good time. I'll do my best to be there as well. tell that TT viper I'll take him on :lol1:

As much as I'd love to go to TX2K2 ... i think the meet is getting too popular and growing out of control. Soon it will be 3000 cars below 500whp, and a handful of 700whp+ cars. Also the fact that is growing like this is only going to attract cops and what not..

Thats the only thing I worry about, is it getting out of control. Last year there were a few times where people acted lie idiots but i guess thats a given at any event to a certain extent. This year our group is going to try to get together with some smaller groups outside of omni (even though we are staying there) to try to keep it as low key as possible. Looking forward to it nonetheless even though the bike will be lucky to even be a chase vehicle...

I think you need to find some turbo bikes, because I can't imagine the street cars out there are a whole lot faster than this Underground Racing one making 1500 hp, and 350whp isn't exactly "top of the line" for a turbo Busa...

I can't see youtube.. but I'm just commenting about what I see on the TX2K11 vids. Not a single bike has beaten the top cars (1000whp+)

Is there a car out there faster without a jet behind it? I thought a turbo bike overcomes the aerodynamic difficulties at high speed?

Just curious if there indeed was a car with a faster Texas Mile time? In the vids with the turbo Lambo's, they drag the bikes all over the place. I'm just curious why they do so well from a roll. Are they running bikes without enough power or are they just the fastest things from a roll?

idk but a car that beats a zx14 on spray with that much ease deserves ALL the credit...

They have to be staying away from the big hp bikes.. I don't car if the do make 1500 hp I've seen several 500+ hp Busa at the track trapping around 200 in a 1/4.. One guy I talked to said his "street tune" was 375rwhp.. That's insane..

I

I know the fastest car in the standing mile is a 1900hp Ford GT @ 266mph.

And I haven't run a sport bike in my car, but i've busted a few harley's  lol. But the higher the roll is seems, the less takeoff the bike has I went from a 40 with a custom 1200 harley and lost by a few car lengths and we went from 55 I beat him by half a car to a car. I have a gt so Idk big speed haha other than my dads 793 hp lightning keeps up with a busa, I have done that.

That was NOT a hayabusa in that Vid

I could be wrong, but that looks like a GSXR

Read the fine print from the person who posted the video. "Its not a gsxr 1000, i was there with my gsxr 1000 turbo -03. And i have been driving this white bike. Its a suzuki Hayabusa 1300. But it got the fairings and fueltank from a gsxr 1000 01-02. It´s equipped with the mc-x 400kit. That produces 340hk @ rear wheel"

Then again, as was said, they don't seem to be bringing out the big turbo bikes to run the high powered cars at TX2K12. I wonder why that is.
