I plan to buy a second set of wheels w/ winter tires to throw on my scat pack charger at some point when it eventually becomes a daily driver. I can count on one hand how many times AWD would of been useful here over the last two years here. 99% of the time it isn't needed.
2014 was the last year you could get AWD on a r/t and it had the 5.7L. The only AWD in the 15+ is either a Pursuit (police car) or the v6. I wish they offered AWD on the v8 models as I would of bought one of those. I had no interest in the v6 so I will try my luck with snow tires in the winter...
I bought a 19 in F8 green in December, have about 3k miles on it so far. I plan to use it as a daily driver at some point (still have my old fusion to split dd duties with). Overall I really like it so far. The engine / transmission is fantastic and has plenty of power for me, I don't plan to...
Good info, thanks! I opted away from the dynamics package because of 18's not fitting over the 6 piston brembo's (and the high cost of brakes). I figured I would look at blizzaks when the time came. Like you, I threw it in eco and also into valet mode, both really tame the car down ( I can only...
How was your experience on snow tires? I bought a Charger Scat Pack back in December and will daily it at some point. I took it out once in a 3ish inch snow on the stock all season goodyears and it moved better than I expected. When my current FWD car eventually goes away, I plan to get a set of...
I picked up a 19 scat pack charger in December and plan to daily drive it. It is super comfortable and drives great, and the 392 is awesome. I don't have the need to add more power to it so not concerned about the limitations. The A8 transmission is fantastic.
I am looking at a 2019 scat pack charger and had a deal pretty close to being done this past weekend except the passenger interior door handle was not working correctly. When the door was opened, the handle wouldn't return to its normal position and the door would not latch properly. The car was...
It all comes down to personal preference. In my opinion, the 05-09 run was awful in terms of appearance, but got much better between 10-14.
The 15+, based on appearance alone, killed my interest in modern mustangs. I would go buy something older before I would even consider looking at a 15+. If...
Mac flowpaths sound similar, but are louder and deeper. I just pulled delta flow 40 flowmasters off of my Mach and installed a Mac Catback. Sounds awesome with my H pipe. Your x pipe is probably the cause of the raspy tone.
This is probably a topic more popular a decade ago but I decided to replace the stock catback w/ weld in delta flow 40 series flowmasters the prior owner installed. I hate hacked up exhaust and wanted a full catback. I am not a fan of most straight through mufflers, and really like the...
I plan to order new shocks/struts and rear lower control arms in the next week.
The prior owner welded in flowmasters to the stock catback. I don't care for the hack job they did, so I am also thinking of buying full catback and doing it right. Right now, the Mac Catback is my preferred...
I use low profile race ramps to drive up on otherwise I can't get my low profile craftsman jack under it. Even then, it's difficult. My car is lowered with steeda sport springs.
I have a 1989 Murray lawn tractor I was running this past weekend when it suddenly made a loud banging noise and stopped itself and the engine shut off. I thought I might of hit something with the blades but that was not the case. When I try to restart the tractor I get a clunking noise coming...
I have a Sony home theater system and it was working perfectly up until yesterday. Tuesday night I was watching TV with full sound coming from the receiver/speakers. I shut everything off as usual and last night I turned it back on and now have no sound despite everything powering on as usual. I...
The prior owner had some undercoating done on our Mach when they had it new and as a result, the shock towers and inner fenders are all covered in a layer of the coating. I tried just using a wet cloth and rubbing to see how hard it was to get off. To my surprise, I got some of it off in a small...
If the weather cooperates and we get some rain, I am planning to get my Mach out of the garage for the first time since November. Is it true that you can basically push the gas pedal all the way down and then crank the car? My understanding is that this will turn off the injectors and allow the...
The previous owner did a hack job in welding in 2 flowmaster mufflers on our Mach. In the spring when it comes out of storage, I am thinking of getting a catback kit so everything is the same size and set up correctly. I love the sound of flowmasters on the car, but am liking the idea of getting...
Within the last week, my PS4 started dropping my wifi signal ever few minutes, sometime more frequently, each time I tried using it. I never had a problem with it before and then this started out of nowhere. I am using the equipment Comcast provides and do not have any other problems with my...
I found this video this morning on youtube, it's not mine. 1100+ Mustangs were registered. It gives a nice view of the cars at the show

I wanted to take a few minutes and share my experience doing my first paint correction and detailing session on our 03 Mach 1. When I started researching this process, I had basically no knowledge as evidence by my original thread...
I don't think I have ever really posted any pics of my Mach up on this site. Last night, I took a few quick pictures at a local park. Warning, these are point and shoot pictures and not taken with a DSLR or edited
This was the car shortly after we picked it up in May of 13. It was a 1 owner...
