No, he was always running an IRS, he went 9.94 @ 141 I believe.....6spd/IRS/Twin Screw/no nitrous

oh wow! I was pretty close to that with my 11.34 run then. I was very sure the car could see 11.1-11.2 but i never had a chance to go back to track prepared on a nicer air. I sold the car i had regular 93 octane in the car, A/F was 10.6 to 11.0, stock fronts, completely full weight.

I am pretty sure with the same mods (upper only), SRA, skinnies, cooler air 45* ish agressive tune would get an upper only cobra into 10s without problem.

I am hoping to buy a cobra in the future hopefully soon and achieve this! Hell maybe with IRS...... and i definetely wanna do it without lower. Just your regular pullied cobra.

Nothing but some good mph so far, I've been playing around on radials. I want to be able to run 9.9's on radials the way I drive it to the track. So far it's trapped 143.4, but at only a 10.3 with a [email protected] 1/8 mile and a 1.76 60'. This was also with no ice in the tank, just as it drives on the street. At the local 1/8 mile track I got a little better with the tire and went [email protected](with ice) with a 1.64 60'. I think this would have been really close to a 9 sec pass at about 145 the way it runs out back. Probably a 10.0. I'll be putting the 28x10.5's on it soon though and see what it'll really do. The DA was just under 1000'.

That was mannys car.... Clint said he has the same thing done to his. When that write up was done that was on a stock motor. Theirs are now fully built. I want turbos BAD now!
