Hey guys the search function isn't working for me. Can you guys with lowered GT500's show me some pics and list the springs and supporting mods. I'm thinking about coming back from the dark side and if I get a Shelby I'm definitely gonna lower it. Also does lowering affect the Performance Package? I'm torn between a Shelby and a C7. 662 hp is hard to deny though. Help me make my decision please.

I wouldnt lower it much if you do. They are already lower than the regular Mustang, and mine scrapes on everything.

FRPP L Springs .. I should note that it lowered about 1 inch in the rear and about .5 inches up front (from the SVTPP equipped car). For me this is low enough because I don't worry about getting in my driveway :) ... I do believe it would be almost perfect though if it were about another .25 - .5 lower in the front .. (it has settled slightly since these pictures were taken)

That looks to be about how far I'd wanna drop mine. I assume the Steeda sport springs give you the lowest drop? Besides the panhard bar, what other parts are necessities when lowering these cars? Also, would going this low affect a car with the adjustable shocks? In my searching I've noticed it's hard to find cars without the performance pack. I'm also pretty dead set on your Grabber & black combo. I'd found one about a week ago just the way I wanted it on cars.com 200 miles away. I procrastinated and it got away.

Sweet pics!
I have the FRPP L-springs in the garage and also Van's dead hooker rears, waiting to hear if BMR does a GT500 specific front spring.

The sport springs give a nice drop, not too aggressive and they ride good. Panhard you need and a UCA also to adjust the pinion angle. You can lower a PP car without issue. It wont affect the adjustable shocks.

Ky GT500, is that a 9500ci install? and do you like it?

Good eye, yep it is. Love it,,like the custom install instead of a growth hanging off my mirror or windshield. I've got the ix on my mirror on my DD, but wanted the more custom look of the ci. Saved my butt a few times now, LEO likes to hide in the dark around here, but I knew he was there way before I got to him.
