96-98 export cars had ambers

99-01 cobras had em

2000 cobra Rs had em

03-04 cars SHOULD have had amber tails

One of the main reasons I like my 01 cobra is the differences. I like the front bumper more than the 03/04 cobra and love the taillights. I even the love the factory seats.

Everyone has an opinion. I've had an 01 and the 03-04 Cobra is a all around better car. Same case in point with the 03-04 Cobra and 13-14 Shelby GT500.

I have to disagree with the looks cheap, I came to an 03 from a 99 and the quality of the amber tail lights is better than the solid red ones, the ones on my 03 look cheap.

I agree 100%. Having them sit next each other, the factory red ones look cheaper.

Call me weird, but I just don't get it. I think both look fine. I highly doubt that any non-terminator owner would even notice the difference. But to each his own.
