this was on my car up until 1 hour ago when it went flat. :D
the other one is still running strong! metal isn't quite showing through yet on that one, but the rubber is gone in sections.

So i'm thinking about doing a full coil-over conversion (front/rear). Which do you think is the best, and why?
For those with either of the kits listed above, please explain why you decided to go with that kit.
Thanks!

So we were hanging out at our usual Fuel Slut meeting ground tonight, and to our amusement a pocket bike went flying by on a main road (eh... maybe 40mph). Just a few seconds later a cop comes from a side street and i'm sure you can guess what happened then...
New midpipe installed! (MRT O/R H) *NEW* Added Sound Clip!!!
Not sure how many of you guys saw this thread: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=120406
But i yanked the Bassani O/R X and bolted up the MRT O/R H this afternoon (just got it this morning).
Here are...
Well, the good news is that my nasty exhaust leak isn't at the manifold, and it isn't a blown head gasket (whew).
The bad news is that my aluminized Bassani X-pipe is trashed. Evidentially this is all due to the leaking A/C. Pics below...
This dyno was actually from the beginning of May, but i was messing around in Vegas last night and felt like whipping up a video, so here's the result. ;)

Some of you have probably read or heard, but i was popped for street racing and reckless driving here in FL even though i wasn't street racing. The street racing charge got dropped, however I still am being charged with reckless driving.
Fact of the matter is that I REALLY cannot afford to...
We had just installed my new TB today, got it idling right and set the TPS to 0.98V. Couldn't have gone any smoother. Take it out for a test drive after a 10 minute idle (to let the computer re-learn), and decide to run to 7-11 for some ice cream. The 3 of us (including me) hop in the car, run...
Piece of cake to install!
Was basically just a matter of draining the IC coolant system, removing front bumper cover, unbolting the stock HE from the car, removing it from the brackets, bending brackets to fit new one, mount it back onto car, replacing front bumper cover, and refill the IC...
I went on a little wiring escapade yesterday with the intent of wiring up the Electric Fan and Intercooler Pump both to individual switches and being able to run them with the car completely OFF and no key in the ignition.
I was able to wire up the Electric Fan no problem. When i flip the...
After about 2 months of not buying anything for the car, i finally got the CC paid off just to charge more to it.
the mod bug owned me.
Stay tuned! more mods on the way. :)
P.S. -- Don't ask about the NAWZZZ switch, they didn't list the brand on the vendor's website. :-p
I'm in the market for a throttle body and can't really decide on which one to go with. I'd appreciate it if you guys would post up any experiences, comments, or pros and cons comparing the two. Also any links to write-ups or reviews would help. :)
Thanks in advance!
Well, i haven't waxed the car in months. Last time was Zaino, this time i thought i'd try something new. I've heard good things about Meguiar's new NXT wax, so i picked up a bottle for $14 at AutoZone yesterday. Got up this morning and did the following:
- Washed car w/ MrClean AutoDry

This car is F-A-S-T on the spray. his best time to date i believe is a 11.5 @ 118 on a 1.6 60' (BFG DRs). i ran him from a roll the other night and he can just BARELY pull on me when his bottle is full and pressure is up.
Enjoy...
Sunday was our first day of the video shoot. We're working on possibly producing a DVD. A trailer may be available soon. Here are a few pics...
brake dust like whoa! something was definitely going down out there! :coolman:
I was driving down the road today, hoping to run a few errands before heading to Orlando Slick World to test out my fresh pair of 315/35 555Rs. Wasn't really running the car hard, but i was being somewhat aggressive. Make a turn onto another road, go through 1st gear into 2nd, reach for 3rd and...
...unless you like to do custom fabrication.
i just got one today and tried to bolt it up with my existing steeda CAI only to find out the inlet pipe is about 3" too long and curves down too far. i'm currently deciding whether an extra 140CFM at WOT is worth $180 and custom fabrication, or if...
After over 5 weeks of driving with a slipping clutch, the McLeod Twin-disc makes it's late arrival! It will be in tomorrow, and will be racing this weekend after a 500 mile break-in. :D
Call this stupid...
Call me too lazy to research...
HOWEVER, i know there are others out there who this will also help, and a poll just makes it easier to get a consensus than sifting through 100 replies. ANYWAY...
I'm going to be getting wheel spacers soon enough and am wondering what...
Just got home from a night of poker to find this!

My 26-spline input shaft from Liberty! Now i'm just waiting on the custom-built clutch from McLeod and my days of clutch slippage will be over! :D
Either i'm blind or i'm looking all the wrong places...
i need to order a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch kit for a 26 spline input shaft (part # DF148075), TOB (part # N1714) and a 26 spline input shaft.
TOB I found no problem. The only Centerforce D/F clutch I can find is for the 10...
