i hit a big pot hole. bent one of my rims, im looking for the original 5spoke stock svt focus rim, not all 4 , just one... any one with one of those looking to get rid of it ???
What exactly does this warranty cover?
i had an incident when I had to change the thermostat on my svtf, took it to the dealership, they wanted to charge me a 100 bucks just to look at it:xpl:
any input from people familiar with this warranty is greatly appreciated...
thanks
hey guys
i just installed my steeda STS, looks/performs excellent, naturally the feel got a little harder to engage. i was wondering if anyone has a fix for that, maybe lubricate the ends of the counterweight or something similar...
wat do u guys suggest?
thanks
well this oil change i went with the Castrol Syntec Blend instead of my usual mobil clean 5000, i noticed my gas mileage went from 27 mixed driving to around 20 highway, i went on a trip to toronto and i wasnt impressed at all
i should say though, it feels more responsive with this oil though
hey fellas, im in need of help with this one, i just bought tom's tune, and i have my predator tuner, donno how to load it from the laptop onto the predator, is there a how to section for this? if not, i know most of you guys have done the tune so pleaseeeeeeeeee help me !
thanks
i just recieved my diablo tuner in the mail and i found out it had a tune of its own installed in it...so now im wondering how does this original predator tune compare to the custom tunes out there (Tom, Wayne, etc...), also how does it compare to no tune (stock)...
thanks
well, i did the counterweight removal mod and now the shifter feels notchy, especially when engaging 5th, feels like stirring a pot full of stones...
any suggestions on improving the shift feel? my "getrag" is harded to stir than my brother's "GM sourced" Saab 5 spd.... :kaboom:
folks, i was looking into upgrading my TB to the 65mm TB, i guess it allows more air into the engine and therefore better throttle response. However, the stock svt TB is 66mm ????... if anything, the 65mm one should decrease throttle response???
anyone clear this up for me
thanks a lot
i bolted on the knn typhoon on my svtf and its awesome, but a few hours after, the CEL came on... says (mixture is too rich)...anybody exeprience that before?
thanks
guys, ive seen a lot of svtf's on the road with their foglights on but not their headlights... is there a mod to allow me to turn the fogs on but leave the headlights off, like say for day time driving???
thanks
Im wondering wat mods are required to get the rpm to travel faster. u plant your foot on the pedal and just wait till it gets to 7k, takes longer than my sable to rev. my buddy installed headers and magnaflow on his sentra seR and the revs now fly.
what would you guys do??
i found a brand new vortech system for my svtf selling for 3 grand, the guy has it in his basement, he never got around to using it so he wants to get rid of it, Im thinking of getting it but dont wanna kill the ride !
so, for all u guys with the supercharged svtf's, give me your .02 about...
this how-to mod they have on focusfanatics.com, I did it to my car and accidently broke the screw that holds the counterweight, and now i found out that i dont really like the new feel of the shifting, so i cant really put the counterweight back on cause i cant seem to be able to pull the screw...
so i hear the stock DISI clip is cheap and bound to break. CFM offers a billet clip to replace that, but how do u know if its gone bad or not? , and if it is still good, would u change it anyway just to stay on the safe side???
Rob
check engine light went on while driving back home, had a half tank of gas last night of 93 octane, and i added a little over 3 gallons later of 89 octane, i thought it would ned a 91 octane.
so is it something to worry about ??
guys i need ure advice on this
im no mechanic but ive test driven the svt focus and i was blown away. however, i can get that or i can go and buy a brand new scion tc
ive test driven the tc too but i like the svt better...so, my question is, do u really need to be a mechanic to be able to...
