I got my focus jacked up and the cv axle hangin by the tranny... I cannot get the axel out of the tranny... is there something special i need to do? in a certain gear or just brute force with a pry bar? I dont want to mess anything up.. so if somebody could chime in, I would be greatful,,,,,,,

I noticed this yesterday after I changed my oil... there is a white smoke thats puffing as I rev the motor coming out of the oil cap on the passenger side... when I disconnect the pcv valve it also has a small white smoke puffing out... I just finished putting my motor together and I just passed...
