Finally gave in and got new rims.

Also did springs, MM C/C plates, poly steering rack bushings, and the last 2 poly IRS bushings. I hope it settles a bit more, especially in the back.

    New best time

[email protected] (done on the stock F1's) Only mods are Densecharger and Magnaflow catback. I can't complain at all.

    Finally ran my car!

I'm told the track I ran at is a bit slow, but I've never run anywhere else, so  Anyway, I'm happy with the times, as I was on the stock Goodyears, and my only mods are catback, CAI, shifter, and subframe connectors.

rofl, I just got challenged to a race

By some dude at work. Unfortunately, it'll be anticlimactic, because he drives a bone stock Acura RSX. And I mean stock, right down to the dealer's license plate frame. His only mod is a Vanillaroma magic tree air freshener. His rationale is that he car is faster than his sister's 2003...

    I have a dilemma

I recently installed a CAI and catback on my car, and now it seems to be running way too lean. (high 13's). I need to remedy that, but I really wanted to keep the warranty for a year, and I don't know any other way of fixing the A/F without tuning. And I'm pretty sure that tuning voids the...

    Before/after dyno pulls w/ Densecharger

Today I made a pair of dyno pulls. One was to test the Magnaflow with the stock paper filter. The second was with the Densecharger I just bought, to test it to see if it really made power. Since so many people here have been having problems with the Densecharger, I thought that a few...

    Which springs?

I've decided that for my uses, coilovers are too much money to justify, so I'm just going to go with springs. I think I've narrowed it down to Eibach or H&R, but I can't find rates published for either one. I want good handling, but I don't want to overwhelm my stock shocks, and I don't want...

    Something's wrong here

Ok, I just finished installing my Magnaflow catback, and after I hooked the battery back up, I took it for a test-drive. Something isn't right. First off, the blower whine is a LOT louder. It seems to pull much earlier in the RPM range, and the boost gauge goes a bit past 10, before...

    Damn that was fast!

I ordered my Magnaflow catback on Wed evening and it just showed up today. Sure beats the month I've been waiting on my subframe connectors.

    Just ordered my catback

Magnaflow :coolman: I got a killer price from completeexhaust.com ($299 + shipping). Made it in just under the wire, because the price just went up to $325 (still a good deal). The listing is here but you have to call to get the price, because it's one of those "too low to advertize" deals.

    "Terminator" dash plaques

A buddy of mine (who also posts here) has a plaque on his dash that says "Terminator" and the build date and number. He said someone on this forum sells them, but the search feature is down. Anyone have a link handy?

    Front tag bracket

I know this has been answered a zillion times, but the search isn't working. Does anyone have a link handy for a place that sells a front tag bracket that attaches to the top of the intercooler opening in the bumper, but holds the tag in front of the bumper like stock? I had my detailer...

Poly differential bushings besides Steeda? Not the IRS bushings, but the other ones near the pinion? I can only find the Steeda ones, and I'd like to compare prices.

    Got the stall fix done

Took my car in and had it re-flashed to fix the stall. Hasn't stalled since. The change is barely noticable, but it seems to affect how the car drops down to idle. Now when I let off of it and push the clutch in, the engine drops to around 1200, then 1000, then slowly settles down to around...

    Urethane!

Does anyone here use urethane front sway bar pivot bushings? If so, are they horribly noisy? I remember the ones I had on my fox were creaky as hell, and no amount of lube would shut them up. I'm thinking about a set for my 03, as well as a set of aluminum differential bushings. Might as...

    MM rear control arm bushings

Has anyone tried out the MM Urethane control arm bushings yet? (http://www.maximummotorsports.com/irsarmbushings.asp). I'm wondering if they're overly squeeky or not. I'm used to a lot of noise from Urethane if it's used at a pivot point. Any feedback is appreciated. :)

    Anyone remember these?

I just dug up and old Vericom VC 200 performance computer. It's missing the windshield mount, but I can probably fabricate something. It seems to be in good working order. I remember running one at the track and it was consistently within .05 of the ET on the board. I think I'll use it to...

    Fun at other people's expense

Dunno if this counts, but thought you'd enjoy nevertheless. On my way home tonight, I stop by a gas station/convenience store. Parked in the lot is a Subaru WRX. Not the STI, but one of the last years frog-headlight deals, and it's sporting a fartpipe so big I think I can use it as a...
